CIOB announces new trustees for 2024
Four new trustees will begin serving from the close of the AGM on 25 June 2024.
The Nominations Committee is pleased to confirm the outcomes of the Trustee Recruitment process for 2024 and the ratification of the outcomes by the Board of Trustees.
2024 saw the recruitment of three Trustees to be elected to the Board from June 2024, along with the selection of one Trustee based on a skills audit of the board.
The result of that assessment process found only three candidates came near to or surpassed the required scoring to reach the election stage. There were only three vacancies for ‘elected’ positions and therefore in accordance with Bye-Law 65(d) the candidates shall be deemed elected without a vote. This decision was ratified by the Board of Trustees electronically in February 2024.
For 2024 - there has been no requirement for a Trustee election.
Craig Battye, Phillip Beaumont and Jonathan Key shall be duly ‘elected’ to the Board of Trustees from the close of the AGM on 25 June 2024.
The Nominations Committee continued with the recruitment process and under Bye-Law 67 proposed to the Board of Trustees a further candidate from the applications based on a skills audit of the full Board and further skills discussion to ensure the required mix of skills and experience to support the Board was found. The decision was ratified by the Board of Trustees in March 2024.
Chris Keast shall be duly selected to the Board of Trustees from the close of the AGM on 25 June 2024.
All matters were formally recorded at the Board of Trustees meeting on 24 April 2024.
