Heritage case studies from Scotland
Scotland’s historic environment attracts millions of visitors each year, creates a unique sense of place, and contributes to the economic and social wellbeing of the country.
A wide range of organisations, communities and individuals care for the historic environment across the private, public and voluntary sector. In order to celebrate, share and learn from the rich array of successful projects and initiatives taking place across Scotland, Built Environment Forum Scotland (BEFS) has collated a selection of inspiring case studies.
Case studies are grouped by the four themes in Scotland’s historic environment strategy Our Place in Time (OPiT). Within each theme, searches of projects can be undertaken by OPiT key performance indicators.
For more information and to access the case studies go to: https://www.befs.org.uk/resources/historic-environment-case-studies/
BEFS will add new case studies as they become available, so a regular check is well worth it.
