Wallpaper
A wallcovering is a material used to cover or protect interior walls. It is primarily associated with commercial or industrial applications. For more information, see Wallcovering.
Wallpaper is a decorative, paper-based wallcovering often used for interior decoration in residential applications.
Modern wallpaper is frequently sold in rolls and is applied with wallpaper paste, or it has an adhesive side that can be moistened. Some are plain and can be used as lining paper to help cover wall defects. Others are textured and / or patterned. Repeating patterns make it easier to match details when hanging wallpaper. This helps to hide the places where two sheets are joined together. The size of the pattern will determine the frequency of the repeat.
Wallpaper printing techniques include surface printing, gravure printing, silk screen-printing, rotary printing and digital printing.
